Frequently asked questions
How do I access the storage?+
After ordering you create buckets and access keys (access key + secret) in the customer panel. You get an S3 endpoint to point your tools at — everything works over the standard S3 API (Signature v4).
Which tools and apps work?+
Anything that speaks S3 — aws-cli, rclone, Cyberduck, S3 Browser, Veeam, Duplicati, plus S3 libraries for most programming languages. If your app works with Amazon S3, it works with us.
Where is my data stored and how is it protected?+
Data is stored in Sweden with a Swedish operator — it never leaves the EU, which makes GDPR compliance simple. Storage runs on redundant disk infrastructure and you control access per key and bucket.
Are there extra fees for traffic or requests?+
No. You pay one simple monthly price for your storage tier — no per-request fees and no traffic/egress fees for normal use.
Can I change tier later?+
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between tiers anytime and only pay the difference. Start free with 10 GB and grow as your needs change.

S3-compatible object storage in Sweden — everything you need to know
What is object storage (S3)?
Object storage is a way to store files — images, videos, backups, logs, documents and application data — as separate objects instead of in a traditional file system. Each object goes into a so-called bucket and is accessed through an API rather than an ordinary folder structure. The standard for that API is Amazon’s S3 (Simple Storage Service), and our object storage is S3-compatible — it speaks the same language as Amazon S3.
The advantage is that the storage is almost limitlessly scalable, cheap per gigabyte and reachable anywhere over HTTP(S). You pay for what you use and never have to think about disks, RAID or running out of space.
S3-compatible storage — works with your tools
Because the storage follows the S3 standard, it works out of the box with every tool and library that already talks to Amazon S3. You can use aws-cli, rclone, s3cmd, Cyberduck or the S3 SDKs for Python (boto3), Node.js, PHP, Go and other languages. Just swap the endpoint, access key and secret key — the rest of your code stays the same.
That makes it easy to move away from Amazon S3 or to run our storage alongside it: the same bucket concept, the same key model, the same S3 calls.
What can you use object storage for?
Common uses are backup and archiving, storing media files and user uploads for a website or app, static websites and downloads, logs and metrics, and a data store for applications and containers. Object storage is especially well suited to large volumes of files that are written once and read many times.
Amazon S3 backup in Sweden
One of the most common needs is a safe place for backups. With S3-compatible object storage you can point your existing backup routines — Veeam, restic, Duplicati, borg via rclone, or your own script using aws-cli — at a bucket with us instead of Amazon S3. You get a remote (offsite) copy of your data without locking yourself into a US cloud provider.
The data is stored in a Swedish data center, which keeps it within Sweden and the EU — good from a GDPR perspective and for anyone who wants to know exactly where their backups live.
Buckets, keys and access
A bucket is the container your objects live in — much like a top-level folder with a unique name. You can have several buckets, for example one for backups and one for a website’s images. Access is controlled with an access key and a secret key (just like in Amazon S3), and you can make individual objects or whole buckets public or private.
Pricing — start free and scale as you grow
You can start completely free with 10 GB and then scale up to larger plans as your needs grow. Pricing is simple and transparent: a fixed monthly cost per storage plan, with no hidden fees. See the plans and prices above, create your first bucket and connect your S3 tools in minutes.
