Peering & network — AS49770
Our technical edge is direct peering with many of the world’s largest operators and cloud providers — direct access to Google, Microsoft, AWS and more.
- Lower latency for Swedish & Nordic users. Traffic to Hurricane, Telenor, Tele2, Arelion, Telia and government networks goes direct, without unnecessary hops.
- More predictable performance during traffic spikes. Peering gives independent capacity compared to a single transit provider.
- Your own BGP sessions. For customers who need to announce their own prefixes. We act as Sponsoring LIR for ASN and PI prefixes.
- Looking-glass visibility. Operational transparency — other network operators can verify our BGP policy independently.

Two datacenter locations
Geographically separated facilities: two data halls in Hudiksvall (one above ground, one below ground) and one in Stockholm (Digital Realty, Esbogatan 11). Geo-redundancy over AS49770, with a 100 Gbit redundant network between the data halls.

Hudiksvall — below ground

Stockholm — Esbogatan 11
Digital Realty
Digital Realty in Kista (Stockholm) is our primary facility — home to the network core and peering. Hudiksvall is our secondary, geo-redundant site, ideal for physically separated backup. Customers with high redundancy needs run both in active-active or active-passive, with data mirroring over our internal 100 Gbps network and automatic BGP failover.

- N+1 UPS
- Diesel generator
- 48h+ fuel reserve
- Framework agreement for 12h fuel delivery
Cooling
- N+1 precision cooling (CRAC)
- Controlled temperature 18–24 °C
- Controlled humidity 40–60 %
Physical security
- Card access + biometrics

- Separate access levels per customer
Fire protection
- Early smoke detection (VESDA)
- Inert-gas suppression system (no water-damage risk to equipment)
Remote Hands
Basic Remote Hands is included from 1U and up, pre-booked during office hours:
- Server reboots (soft or hard via PDU control)
- Cabling and physical connection of new servers in an established space
- Visual inspection (status LEDs, fans, indicators)
- First-line troubleshooting of obvious hardware faults
Pre-booking principle: routine tasks are booked for the next available slot (typically within 1–2 business days) — that keeps the price at the included level. More extensive work (firmware, hardware swaps, RMA, full installation of new servers) is billed hourly or included in a Managed Hosting agreement.
Colocation in Sweden — why host here instead of abroad?
Often more practical — and prices are now on par with foreign alternatives.
Swedish jurisdiction & GDPR
Data in Sweden is governed by Swedish law and the GDPR. Providers with US parent companies (AWS, Azure, Google) remain exposed to the US CLOUD Act even when the hardware sits in Frankfurt or Stockholm. A fully Swedish operator with no foreign group eliminates that exposure.
Latency to Nordic users
Colocation in Hudiksvall/Stockholm gives under 5 ms to Swedish users and ~10–15 ms to Helsinki, Copenhagen and Oslo. Frankfurt is 20–35 ms from Stockholm — noticeable in e-commerce, gaming and real-time applications.
EU AI Act & data localisation
The European AI Act (2024/1689) sets specific data-handling requirements for AI systems. Hosting within the EU and demonstrably in Sweden simplifies compliance reporting.
Common colocation use cases
Hybrid cloud
Core systems on your own hardware with us, burst capacity in public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP). Connected via dedicated fibre or IPsec.
License-bound software
Oracle, SAP and certain ERP systems where hardware-bound licensing makes cloud impractical.
High-performance databases
Where every 0.1 ms counts and dedicated NVMe on your own hardware beats virtualisation.
Compliance-driven hosting
Financial services, health data and government assignments where physical separation and Swedish data residency are required.
Your own ISP or smaller operator
Colocation + BGP peering to establish your own AS and routing policy.
More features
Rack units, full rack or cage
24/7 personal access
Inter & cross connects
IPv4 and IPv6 available
Connect your colocation to the cloud
Several Internet exchange points (IX)
Up to 10 Gbit/s
Operator neutral connectivity
